​January 2014 - The Security and Exchange Commission announced its examination priorities for 2014 for the National Examination Program and one of those key priorities is Enterprise Risk Management. The National Examination Program states that it will continue to meet with boards and high level senior management to discuss the firm’s Enterprise Risk Management process, especially as it pertains to identifying legal, compliance, financial, and operational risks. February 2014 - Soteria Risk, LLC is officially incorporated as an LLC in the State of Colorado.  The central mission of Soteria Risk is to develop and deliver robust consulting solutions and customized tools necessary to assist large organizations manage all aspects of Enterprise Risk Management.

March 2014- David Young, Soteria Risk’s Managing Principal, was invited by the RIMS Rocky Mountain Chapter to be a guest speaker at their monthly luncheon and gave the presentation “Enterprise Risk Management and Emerging Technology”.

April 2014 - Soteria Risk LLC, a start-up company in the Enterprise Risk Management consulting space, has its official company launch on the first day of the 2014 National RIMS Convention in Denver, Colorado.  They will be exhibiting in Booth #2041.  Visit with them there.          

April 2014 - Soteria Risk introduces ERMView, a Cloud-Based SAAS (Software-as-a-Service) platform that provides a collaboration and communication tool designed allow risk owners, outside vendors and key stakeholders to manage and curate all functions and activities related to Enterprise Risk Management throughout the organization, available to both internal and external risk team members.  ERMView provides an Executive Dashboard view of all key information, activities and events related to these efforts.

July 2014 – Soteria Risk, LLC obtains an agreement in principal from a private Angel Investor to provide financing to scale the growth of the company over the next several fiscal years.

September 2014- David Young, Soteria Risk’s Managing Principal, was an invited guest speaker at the 2014 RIMS Western Region Conference, held in San Diego. The topic of the session is “Technology and Risk Management: Disruptive and Emerging Technology Issues.”

October 2014 – Soteria Risk, LLC was an exhibitor at the RIMS Enterprise Risk Management Conference, held in Miami.  They will be exhibiting in Booth #2041. 

November 2014- David Young, Soteria Risk’s Managing Principal, attended the National Workers’ Compensation Annual Conference in Las Vegas.

December 2014 – Soteria Risk, LLC received verification from the United States Patent and Trademark Office that the trademarked names “Soteria Risk and ERMView” had been published in the Trademark Official Gazette.

December 2014- An important milestone for Soteria Risk, LLC.  Signed Master Services Agreement for a multi-year contract for the first subscription to ERMView, customized for our client.

March 2015- David Young, Managing Principal for Soteria Risk, presents “Emerging Risk in Risk Management at the Infragard Members Alliance Denver Meeting.

April 2015- Attended the 2015 RIMS National Annual Conference in New Orleans.

September 2015 - Pay Ratio Disclosure Final rule
Effective 1/1/17, it requires the disclosure of the median of the annual total compensation of all employees of a registrant (excluding the chief executive officer), the annual total compensation of that registrant’s chief executive officer, and the ratio of the median of the annual total compensation of all employees to the annual total compensation of the chief executive officer. 

October 2015- David Young, Managing Principal, presents with PwC " How to talk to the C-Suite about Risk" at 2015 RIMS Western Regional Conference, held in Lake Tahoe.

October 2015- Soteria Risk finalizes their exhibition and Bronze sponsorship at the 2015 RIMS ERM Conference, held in Chicago in late October. 

​October 2015- Soteria Risk confirms our attendance at the 2015 National Workers Compensation and Disability Conference to be held November 11 through 13 at the Mandalay Bay resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
